At least 20 people were killed and 23 others injured, when a bus fell into the river Banas early Saturday morning.

"The dead include 22 men, eight women and three children".

All the bodies have been recovered from the bus after cutting the windows and sent them to hospital for further medical procedure.

According to local media reports, the bus was carrying 50 pilgrims from central Madhya Pradesh and northern Uttar Pradesh states to the Ramdevra Temple in Rajasthan. The driver reportedly lost control over the vehicle due to which the bus skidded off the bridge into the river. "But preliminary investigation suggests that Zakir was driving", said Mishra. Driver fatigue, negligence, and poorly maintained roads and vehicles cause many crashes.
