Brady was asked on Friday about the report from The Boston Globe's Bob Holder that includes details about Guerrero's tension with Belichick that led to the trainer being banned from the sidelines, and him no longer being allowed to treat any Patriots players at the team facility except Brady.
Belichick had asked those in attendance if the presents were wrapped as well. "That would be impossible to do and I'm not going to do it". The referees are a little more lenient because they know you got it coming. I mean, how do you say that [Belichick] said anything? "You don't know anything about that".
Brady: "Well, I have a lot of conversations with him, so those are private between he and I, and I don't think anyone knows what we talk about". Certainly I've never talked about it.
Before ending his press conference, Brady stated his relationship with Guerrero has not affected his relationship with Belichick.
Belichick and Brady have enjoyed a stunningly successful partnership, reaching seven Super Bowls and winning five - the most recent New England's stunning comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons in last season's National Football League championship game.
The Bills have said all the right things this week, with the exception of guard Richie Incognito. "I let my play do the talking". "So I'm not going to go through a case-by-case of what everybody does and so forth. It's not much beyond that".
Brady and Gronkowski are expected to chat with reporters later this afternoon at Gillette, and will be tossed their share of questions about Guerrero.
Brady was also asked if the situation had put a strain on his relationship with Belichick to which he said no. "That's kind of what I've always done".
