Natural disaster of 5.0 magnitude strikes Uttarakhand, tremors felt in Delhi-NCR

In the last 24 hours this is the second quake in Uttarakhand. Subsequent tremors were felt in parts of Northern India including Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, NCR at around 8.50 P.M.

As per IMD, the epicentre of the natural disaster was Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag, with a Magnitude of 5.5 and depth of 30 km. The strong tremors have jolted whole North India with the intensity of 5.5 on the Ritcher scale.

Uttarakhand comes in an area which is more prone to quake.

Natural disaster of Magnitude:5.5, Occurred on:06-12-2017, 20:49:54 IST, Lat:30.4 N & Long: 79.1 E, Depth: 30 Km, Region:Distt. It falls in the Himalayan region. Officials said that no immediate loss of life and property has been reported from across the state. People came out of their homes when quake felt in Delhi-NCR.
