Orange County Fire Agency (OCFA) shared photos of the scene, where one person was temporarily trapped in the white saloon auto as a fire burned in the building.
There was a fire that was quickly extinguished once crews arrived on scene.
Officials say a small fire injured one person who managed to get out of the vehicle unassisted.
Crews will use a crane to remove the vehicle from the building.
According to NBC Los Angeles, the accident happened around 5:25 a.m. near the intersection of French and 17th streets The white sedan hit a center median on 17th Street and went airborne. "One person self extricated, the other person is still trapped in the vehicle". He and the car's passenger had minor injuries from the wreck, and police said the driver would likely be admitted to a nearby hospital for observation. Members from OCFA & LA COUNTY Urban Search & Rescue teams are removing the vehicle from the building.
Santa Ana Police said in a statement that the driver of the vehicle admitted to using narcotics.
