Turan wore the No.7 for two seasons at Barcelona but has moved to Turkey, with Barcelona reserving the right to sell him in any of the transfer windows during his loan spell.
FC Barcelona has just officially announced the transfer of their Turkish midfielder Arda Turan to Istanbul Basaksehir FK on loan until June 2020, as Turan's contract with Barcelona officially ends.
The two clubs had reached a loan agreement for the 30-year-old Turkish global, but did not disclose the financial value of the deal, reports Efe. The 30-year-old Turan posted a goodbye letter on social media, saying that "being a Barcelona player was the wildest dream I had".
Turan returns home to Turkey, where he played for Galatasaray and Manisaspor, after finding game-time limited at Barcelona, having not made an appearance this season.
Turan was also part of the team in the six titles the club managed to claim: One League, two Copas del Rey, one Spanish Super Cup, one Club World Cup and one European Super Cup.
Arda opted to join Barca from LaLiga rival Atletico Madrid in July 2015, but a transfer ban imposed on the club meant he did not debut until the next January.
