Cindy Crawford Returns to the Super Bowl for Pepsi


It's exactly that sense of family and love that led Crawford to reunite with Pepsi for a new commercial.

The Superbowl will air on February 4, 2018 at 6:30pm on NBC. It includes her son, Presley Walker Gerber, as well as footage from Michael Jackson's memorable Pepsi commercial, The Associated Press reported.

Cindy Crawford is recreating her iconic 1992 Pepsi commercial for this year's Super Bowl.

The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is headlined by superstar Justin Timberlake.

"To this day, people come up to me to talk about how much they loved my original Pepsi spot from '92", said Crawford.

"It was one of those moments in my career that when I walked down the street, people were like, 'Pepsi!' Or I'd be at a bar and people would send me over a Pepsi", Crawford remembered about the original and the massive impact it had. "I am proud to play a role in this iconic pop-culture phenom and excited for fans to see our new take". This packaging release in select markets around the world will be the first in a series of limited-edition packaging unveiled in 2018 across the trademark, including Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar and Diet Pepsi.

In honor of Crawford's return, Pepsi will also be re-launching its retro design starting on January 29, as well as "Pepsi Stuff", the loyalty program that the company first introduced in 1996, which features coolers, bikes, t-shirts, and more, all emblazoned with the Pepsi logo.

The company debuted a campaign called "Pepsi Generations" that will tout the brand's pop-culture influence over the past 120 years.

Pepsi Stuff, the USA loyalty program first released in 1996, is making a comeback. Pepsi Generations Live pop-up exhibits will guide fans through the evolution of how Pepsi's history has connected with people over generations.

The campaign announcement comes just one day after Coca-Cola Co. announced that its Diet Coke brand was being "restaged" with sleek new packaging and four new feisty flavors.
