Drunk Russian Steals Wine After Crashing Armored Personnel Carrier Into Store

A Russian man stole an armored vehicle north of the Arctic circle and rammed it into a supermarket, where he stole a bottle of red wine, according to the BBC.

Witnesses said that a 29-year-old man crashed through the window of a Semya supermarket after the vehicle, owned by an official paramilitary organisation, emerged from woodland and hit a auto.

The man originally stole the vehicle from a a "motorsport training ground" nearby, drove it through a forest, and then finally through the window of a convenience store.

A man was arrested by authorities after he hijacked an armoured personnel carrier and took it on a joyride through the streets of a Russian town. It's also quite impressive he managed to drive it and only smash one vehicle (and a supermarket shopfront) in the process.

Footage shared on social media showed the man subsequently exiting the vehicle through its hatch, briefly inspecting the damage, and entering the shop through the broken window.

Here, he made a decision to jump out of the vehicle and into the shop to steal a bottle of wine, the local online Hibinform.ru reports. The shop was not licensed to sell alcohol that early in the morning, the agency added. He reportedly didn't resist arrest.
