Arctic Monkeys have announced their first tour date of 2018, unfortunately, they're playing in America for now.
The Sheffield band's last show was at Rio de Janeiro's HSBC Arena on November 15, 2014.
The cryptic clip shared on Reddit, which has now been deleted, claimed to be from the band's Instagram Story and sparked speculation the numbers revealed dates and geographic co-ordinates of upcoming gigs.
News of their return has spawned a wave of excitement for more tour dates to come, kicking off 2018 on a pretty magnificent note..
Meanwhile, in other very important Arctic Monkeys news, we can confirm that Alex Turner is still growing his beard.
O'Malley recently spoke to motorcycle website For The Ride, with the article stating that "Nick found time for the track day before recording began on the eagerly anticipated sixth album, started at a secret location in September". This year it's no different as we're given yet another great mainstream lineup, with a good amount of dance music crossover acts.
Drummer Matt Helders has also been active in the interim, making a name for himself as a hired hand and helping out with Iggy Pop's studio and touring band in 2016.
