The users will also hopefully like the bezel-less design, similar to what we have last seen in the HTC U11+. The device is expected to come in Silver, Black and Red colour options. It was also speculated that the company would launch a cheaper version of its flagship smartphone U11 Plus sometime in January.

According to evleaks, the HTC U11 Eyes will sport a 6-inch Super LCD3 full HD screen. So by launching the U11 EYEs, the company will re-enter the dual camera smartphone market. It will be IP67 rated for water and dust resistance. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor and pack 4GB of RAM. Let's get to the other leaked specifications.

In terms of the software, the phone will sadly run on the dated Android Nougat operating system. It is said to be backed by a 3930mAh battery with USB Type-C and fast charging support.

Back in 2014, HTC launched another device with the "Eye" branding due to identical rear and front-facing cameras.

The images Blass had leaked reveal a dual-selfie-camera setup and an 18:9 aspect ratio display on the phone, which makes it the company's second to come with the trendy feature.

Although the invite itself does not reveal the device's name or specifications, the accompanying text in Chinese does mention the word 'Eye, ' giving us a hint that the HTC U11 EYEs will be the phone launched at the event. Ah and before I forget, yes, the HTC U11 EYEs will feature the Edge Squeeze technology.

HTC will launch the all-new HTC U11 EYEs on January 15 in a confirmation coming directly from the Taiwanese major. HTC U11 EYEs is likely to be available first in Hing Kong, China and Taiwan.
