LG G6 with Android Oreo beta sighted in China

OnePlus announced open beta for Android Oreo through its German Twitter account, tweeting (translated), "Christmas is over, but we still have a present for you!"

The first Open Beta build for the OnePlus 5T weighs around 1.6GB, and the installation process takes over 15 minutes. Recently, the company rolled out the stable version of Android 8.0 Oreo for its LG V30 smartphone in South Korea. If you're not up for flashing the update manually, consider waiting until the stable over-the-air firmware arrives, which should come around the end of January if the previous beta cycles are any indication.

Despite the similarity between the names, the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 only share a few hardware specifications.

The Mi A1, since its launch, has quickly become a fan favorite, with the device's stock Android software making it one of the best options within its price segment.

Picture-in-picture, notification channels, and autofill are just some of the new features added to the device.

Once the open beta goes live, the company expects that a lot of OnePlus 5T owners will upgrade their handsets.

LG has started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo for LG V30. It sports a "unique" 5.7-inch "FullVision" display that has a resolution of 1440x2880 pixels.

However, it won't be long when OnePlus 5T also gets the Oreo treat.

Despite the announcement, there seems to be no open beta update available now for the OnePlus 5, and there is no timeline regarding its imminent arrival as well.
