Liverpool Lower Daniel Sturridge Demands As Inter Work On Signing

Sturridge has only started five games for Liverpool this season and has often failed to break into Jurgen Klopp's starting lineup over his perceived lack of work rate and susceptibility to injuries.

Crystal Palace's move for Inter Milan striker Eder may pave the way for Daniel Sturridge to replace him in Italy.

The German is happy to see the England global leave, with Sevilla also interested in him.

Despite this, Sturridge has still scored three goals and assisted a further three, with his peripheral role fuelling a desire to leave in order to make the England squad for the World Cup.

The chances of Sturridge move out this January are high, but if interested clubs fail to meet Liverpool's demands, he may as well stay at Anfield.

Furthermore, "discussions have also opened up towards a potential permanent transfer at the end of this season", which presents Liverpool with an ideal resolution.

Having dealt with illness and muscular injuries, the former Manchester City and Chelsea player last appeared for Liverpool on December 6, but has since returned to full training.

The former Chelsea frontman had been said to be favouring a move to La Liga side Sevilla, but it would appear that Inter and now favourites for his signature - despite fellow Serie A side Roma also entering the running for Sturridge.
