Nintendo Russia hints at a Nintendo Direct next month

Dark Souls: Remastered marks the Dark Souls series debut on a Nintendo platform, and for the first time ever can be played on the go with the unique capabilities of the Nintendo Switch console.

Nintendo Russia hinted to "watching the news" on the Russian carbon copy of Facebook VK, the company answered a question that was a fan asking about the rumored January Direct event, Nintendo Russia replied with "good afternoon!" It's a challenging, single-player game full of secrets and collectibles to find as you make your way up Celeste Mountain. It gets more interesting when you realized that the Switch made such an accomplishment without going through a massive price cut. Many a fan has asked for a remake or port, and they are surely crying tears of delight today.

EA has mostly abandoned the Switch with the exception of this game, and it appears to be an exceptional game from them.

The Super Mario Odyssey will get a new competitive game mode. Keep in mind that the game will have a 30 frames rate per second regardless of whether you are using the Switch as a portable or if it is in the dock.

It's also been announced for PS4 and Xbox One. Most likely, 999-star power players will hide it in hard-to-reach areas.

Mario + Rabbids DLC (Spring 2018) - Early Switch hit Mario + Rabbids is getting some welcome DLC, adding Donkey Kong as a character. So far, the details revealed indicate that the story mode will be fun.

In terms of new features, Dark Souls Remastered will include multiplayer support for six concurrent players and dedicated servers - according to the PlayStation Blog.

PC gamers might be able to pay about half as much, though.

Nintendo also announced that the Wii U title Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will be coming to the Switch, with a brand new beginner-friendly mode featuring Funky Kong. That did not, however, mean Xbox One finished behind both consoles, as it so often has since the Switch launched in March 2017.
