Former Alabama All-American and Butkus Award victor and current San Francisco 49er Reuben Foster was arrested in Tuscaloosa on Friday.
Foster was charged with second degree possession, according to the website, and bond was set at $2,500.
A statement from the 49ers Friday night said: "The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Reuben Foster and we are now gathering all relevant facts".

During his rookie season, Foster showed promise at outside linebacker and compiled 72 tackles, good for second on San Francisco, in only 10 games. The organization released a statement Friday night regarding the arrest: "The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Reuben Foster and we are now gathering all relevant facts".
He was the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Month in November.
Foster played at Alabama, where he was a first-team All-America pick and won the Butkus Award as the nation's top linebacker.
