It is expected that the Galaxy On7 Prime will be going on sale in India later this month. Earlier last week, Samsung announced that it will be launching a new On-series smartphone in the country, and now the company has made it official - it is the Galaxy On7 Prime. The cheapest of the two smartphones recently introduced by Samsung, Galaxy A8 (2018) isn't cheap at all, as customers will have to come up with no less than €500 to buy this one.
Samsung's off to a sexy start in 2018 with the launch of a pair of brand new premium mid-range handsets that have a lot of things in common with the company's flagships, and even improves on some of their weaknesses. If you are interested to book the device for yourself, you may head over to Amazon India store and register yourself with the "notify me" option to get as and when the smartphone is available.
The On7 Prime will be powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos 7870 octa-core chipset along with ARM Mali-T830 MP2 GPU which takes care of graphics in the smartphone. The smartphone will have two memory variants - 3GB of RAM with 32GB internal memory and 4GB of RAM with 64GB internal memory, both supporting 256 GB expandable memory via micro SD card slot. The Galaxy A8+ (2018) features curved glass design on the back and front; and it has a metal frame on the side. Galaxy On7 Prime will support Samsung Pay Mini for mobile payments. Considering this is the mid-range market that Samsung is tackling, price will likely be a big deciding factor for consumers. The listing has largely the same features as the Amazon India one, with the notable exception of front camera - while the India model sports a 13-megapixel selfie shooter, the UAE variant has an 8-megapixel front camera. The key highlights of the smartphone are its 6-inch infinity display and dual rear cameras.
