Drake treats hotel housekeeper to $10000 shopping spree

Drake, born Aubrey Graham, kicked off his charitable streak on February 5 by giving SC student Destiny James a $50,000 check towards her tuition to the University of Miami's Frost School of Music.

Paret, a Haitian mother of five, wakes up every day at 4:30 a.m.to take a long commute, highlighting the current transportation issues within Miami. After cleaning 14-rooms at the famed hotel, her four-hour bus commute would only add to her exahustion.

She got a spa massage, a lobster dinner at the upscale Miami Beach restaurant StripSteak, and almost an hour of unlimited shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue.

A auto was waiting for her and a friend after dinner, the Miami Herald reports, and she was taken to Saks Fifth Avenue in Brickell City Centre. "It made me happy".

Brown and Drake recently met up in Miami to share their blessings with a 63-year-old housekeeper.

"I always just saw him on the TV". Then, she was driven to Saks Fifth Avenue, where she was given a 45 minute time limit to buy whatever she wanted!

Paret told the Miami Herald she picked out a pair of comfortable $800 shoes for church, four perfumes, a $2,000 designer handbag, and a $6,000, 18-karat gold diamond necklace.

He also treated a school basketball team to dinner and gave them all Nike LeBron James sneakers.

After donating $75,000 during the filming of his "God's Plan" music video and paying for an entire grocery store's shopping, the Canadian hitmaker surprised one special lady from the Florida city.

Paret's shopping spree will feature in the video, and her grandson commented: 'Grandma, you're a superstar!' Instead, Paret's day went differently.
