Google Tez allows you to make hassle-free payments.

Google Tez is a UPI based mobile payments app that was launched in India back in September. Now, Google is adding utility bill payments feature for its users, the company said in a blog post, "Adding a new biller is a breeze, and you only have to do it once". If preferred you may also keep a custom name for the billing service. Now, with the latest update, it gets the feature and some of the billers include Reliance Energy, BSES, and DishTV etc. After confirming the biller, you need to provide the number associated with your account for linking it with Tez. To make things more convenient, Tez adds the Bharat BillPay system. In order to pay utility bills, users will see different billers depending on their city and region and one can also search them by name.

Google Tez app will bring bill payments for over 80 billers for private and public utility service providers across the country. Nobody, really. But in India, Google has an app called the Tez mobile wallet that starting today, allows payments to be made in seconds.

Paying bills takes time, whether it's queuing, hopping around to multiple offices, or jumping between apps.

Tez will also fetch your utility bills every month and reminds the user by sending a timely notification. It lets users check whether they have paid a bill by simply tapping the biller's name on the app's home screen. Tapping on this will show a list of supported utility companies. You will be able to enjoy a simplified checkout system while using Tez.

Follow the instructions on the screen, if you're asked to enter your ID, you can find it on a physical bill or e-bill. It works with over 50 UPI-enabled banks, so that money stays in users' bank accounts until they need to use it. Tez users continue to earn interest from their banks and have their deposits backed by bank security guarantees.

Mountain View based Internet search giant Google launched its Google Tez app in India previous year in September.
