Konami has just released Patch 1.02 for Metal Gear Survive.
Metal Gear Survive is the first Metal Gear game from Konami after the departure of series creator and industry legend, Hideo Kojima from the company. At the very least, you know you'll be able to stroll into the game looking stylish. Instead, it incorporates special survival-based elements with online multiplayer, co-op, and single-player modes.
Gamers hoping to play the title on PlayStation 4 last night were met with issues, including an inability to download the game's day one patch.
Taking all of this into consideration, it will be interesting to see whether or not Metal Gear fans and gamers at large will take to Survive by purchasing a copy of Konami's revised version of the original franchise. If you didn't delete the game from your first beta experience, simply choose the appropriate launcher, log in, and enjoy the carnage. Up to three other players can join your game to explore the world and complete missions with you. What's more is that giant extraterrestrial monsters are put on display, as well as what appears to be a mixture between a Metal Gear mech and a tyrannosaurus rex. There's also a selection of daily missions to get out in, if you so choose.
Metal Gear Survive will be released on the 20th of February in the North American region.
