Android 8.1 Oreo Update Arrives To The OnePlus 5 & 5T

The OTA update will begin rolling out today. However, if you cannot wait to upgrade your 5/5T with this update, you can check for it manually by heading over to the Settings System updates menu. Network boost for games has also been added in for of a network priority for the gaming app in the foreground. It now appears that the company has honed these gestures over the past few months and is ready to roll out the feature to all the OnePlus 5 and 5T users. The launcher has added category tags in search section of app drawer. The update also brings auto naming for folders based on category. OnePlus 5 and 5T owners who love gaming on their smartphones should be happy to know that the gaming mode is now going to feature adaptive brightness which is going to make it easier on their eyes.

OnePlus is rolling out OxygenOS 5.1.0 update for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T devices as an over-the-air (OTA) update.
