Lind has served as the district's superintendent for six years, and he has been in education for 31 years. Less than ten years after the renovation of the high school, the enrollment had increased to the point where the building was woefully overcrowded.

"I'm very appreciative of our board and our community for really being pro-public school folks", he said.

For the owner of a home assessed at $150,000, which is about the average for the district, the tax bill would increase by about $104, going from the current $4,338.89 to $4,443.02.
