Police said a man entered a Tim Hortons restaurant and demanded money from an employee.

On Sunday night, for at least the seventh time in the previous week, Regina police officers responded to an armed robbery at a business.

Police say the first robbery occurred at the CVS at 972 E. Little Creek Road around 5:30 a.m. The suspect then ordered the victim to the back of the store to retrieve money from the safe, showing a black handgun.

Police said the victim, a man, 22, was dropped off at the hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound.

"Have the seller meet you at 300 Congress St., it's the Bridgeport Police Department, our lobby is available to anyone", he says.

They say a man was armed with a knife when he went into the store.

The suspects were later identified as 35-year-old Michael L. Brunson of Prince George County and 32-year-old Christine Holliday of Petersburg.

After police surrounded the area, the man was taken into custody without incident.

A suspect wanted in six jurisdictions on armed robbery charges may have struck again.
