Danny Boyle's Kate McKinnon Comedy Gets Fall 2019 Release


Ed Sheeran could be flexing his acting muscles once more, after being in talks to appear in Danny Boyle's latest Beatles-themed movie.

Hit recording artist Ed Sheeran is poised to make a more significant jump into the acting world, and the project couldn't be more ideal.

Working Title is producing the film, written by Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Notting Hill). Sheeran will apparently write new songs, while tracks from the legendary British group will also feature in the film. Boyle is the front-runner to direct the Bond movie, and it could prove challenging to promote two films debuting so close together. The plot will be built around a street musician who discovers that he is the only one in the world remembers the Beatles song.

The Untitled Danny Boyle/Richard Curtis Comedy will be produced by Working Title's Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner (Les Misérables, Darkest Hour, Bridget Jones's series) alongside Matt Wilkinson (Kaleidoscope) and Bernie Bellew (Steve Jobs).

The pop star denied the railings had anything to do with homeless sleepers, and said he wants to erect them to keep tabloid paparazzi away from his door step.

The cast for the movie thus far includes Lily James and Himesh Patel. Kate McKinnon ("SNL") is said to be in talks too, Deadline reported, with filming scheduled for this summer.
