The "Mortdecai" star and her fiancé Brad Falchuk were overjoyed to have the support of their friends as they marked their upcoming nuptials with an event at Los Angeles Theatre.

"Thank you to all of our unbelievable true and dear friends who came to support us", Paltrow wrote on Instagram.

Gwyneth Paltrow expressed her gratitude to friends who have made her engagement party successful. I will never get over my gorgeous dress.

The actress added, "Thank you to all of our awesome true and dear friends who came to support us".

Model Karlie Kross was there along with Gwyneth's mother Blythe Danner who carried a dress bag from Monique Lhuillier, known for her brides' outfits. The happy couple and Kate's two children - 14-year-old Ryder Robinson, son of rocker Chris Robinson, and six-year-old Bingham Bellamy, son of singer Matt Bellamy - popped balloons to discover pink confetti within, as Kate's April 6 Instagram video showed.

And Gwyneth doesn't imagine she'll have a "big" wedding with Brad. Falchuck and Murphy together created hit series "Glee" and "American Horror Story", and are reportedly behind upcoming Netflix series "The Politician" with no less than Barbra Streisand, Paltrow and Broadway sensation Ben Platt in talks to star.

Aniston wore a floor-length black gown and wore a wrist brace on her left arm.

Other attendees of Paltrow's very A-list affair included Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts, Demi Moore, Kate Hudson and Chelsea Handler.

The celeb couple announced their engagement on January 8.

The Vogue cover girl was previously Wednesday to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, with whom she has two children - Apple and Moses.
