Former PM Nawaz Sharif outside the accountability court last month.
"Meanwhile in a statement, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz said 25 years had passed since Nawaz Sharif delivered a historic speech in which his words "I will never take the dictation" changed the political history as well as social behaviors".
"Everyone is busy providing his analysis but no one is reading the court order", he remarked during a hearing today.
As the hearing went under way later in the afternoon, the court expressed displeasure at the media coverage of the LHC order, with Justice Ijazul Ahsan terming it fake news.
The chief justice asserted that the court never stopped anyone from healthy criticism.
He added that PEMRA appears to be completely helpless.
"We have also asked the registrar to place the judgment on record", added Justice Nisar.
"PEMRA has also been directed by the LHC to strictly monitor TV channels with regard to airing any anti-judiciary speeches/remarks and submit a report after 15 days", a court official told PTI.
The political future of Sharif, who leads the countrys most powerful political family and his party (PML-N), has been hanging in the balance since then.
Raja issued an apology after the court warned of cancelling his licence. She said in Pakistan vote bank belonged to PML-N.
The court ordered PEMRA to decide on the petitions in 15 days and until that time refrain from airing any contemptuous remarks by the respondents.
The larger bench, headed by Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi, gave this verdict on petitions seeking initiation of contempt cases against former premier Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and other PML-N leaders for criticizing the judiciary.
Maryam's counsel in the case resumed cross-examination of prosecution witness Wajid Zia, the head of the Panama Joint Investigation Team (JIT) that probed the Sharif family's offshore assets.
