J. Cole Announces New Album 'K.O.D.' & Release Date

It's tough to tell if Smokepurpp is just trolling fans here, considering Cole never puts features on his albums, or if he's telling the truth, but you can check it out for yourself (below). The Dreamville boss announced what appears to be a special concert at New York City's Gramercy Theatre tonight (April 16).

Cole also changed his profile pictures on Instagram and Twitter to an all purple picture with no context which could be perceived as potential artwork for the album.

On top of that, MissInfo reports that the album has three different subtitles and suggests that there are 12 songs on it.

Cole's newest project will mark his first release since 2016's 4 Your Eyez Only. Last go around, Cole released a few visuals on Tidal including studio sessions that the "Deja Vu" rapper had during the production, recording and studio sessions of the last album.

We expect it to be nothing less than all shades of dope (after all, it's J Cole).

American performing artiste Jermaine Lamarr Cole popularly known as J.Cole has unveiled the release date for his new album, "KOD".
