Moto G6 gets listed on Amazon ahead of launch: Price, specs revealed

Previous rumors have suggested that the Moto G6 Play might come with a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440) 18:9 IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 SoC under-the-hood coupled with Adreno 505 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and the whole package is expected to be backed by a 4000mAh battery.

While Amazon Canada only lists the 32GB variant of the smartphone, Motorola is expected to launch a 64GB variant of Moto G6 as well. As is customary with most upcoming smartphones, the Moto E5 Plus has been spotted on Geekbench.

The photos also confirm that the Moto G6 Play will come with a single primary camera on the back, whereas the standard Moto G6 and the top-end Moto G6 Plus will have two snappers on the rear, but will wary in screen sizes. As per the leaked images, the Moto G6 Play will feature a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720-pixel resolution and a 2.5D curved glass protection. Moto G6 is said to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset.

Rumored specs for the phone include an nearly 6-inch Full HD display with an 18:9 ratio, a Snapdragon 630 chipset and 6GB of RAM. It is expected to have a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support. The device will come with a micro USB port and of course, it will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone will feature a rear-facing fingerprint scanner which will be hidden within the Motorola batwing logo. The Lenovo-owned company will also be launching the new Moto G6 and G6 Plus on the said date. As per the 10-second video also shared by Slashleaks, the Moto G6 Play's display and the rear panel is shown. At the front, selfies and video calling could be handled by possibly a 16MP sensor and an accompanying LED flash could help in low-light conditions. But as it happens every time, both G6 and G6 Play have been a subject to several leaks and rumours.
