Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1 now on display shelves

HMD Global is the global licensee of Nokia brand for a 10-year period. Fresh renders of the alleged Nokia X6 sporting a notch have cropped up today to reveal what sort of design it will be arriving with. The Finland based smartphone manufacturer has already sent out media invites for the Nokia X6 launch and is all set launch the phone on April 27 in its home market. Yes, it will have the same name as the Symbian-powered Nokia X6 that made its debut on the market nearly ten years ago, and just like its namesake, it will pack mid-tier specs.

Both the Nokia 6 and Nokia 7 Plus have Zeiss branding on their cameras and both support Nokia's signature Bothie Mode where one can shoot video with both front and back cameras at the same time.

According to the new report, the new Nokia X6 will sport a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels. Below the display, towards the left, there's the Nokia logo. The LED flash is placed below the dual camera setup on the X6, but it is positioned on the right side of the dual rear cameras of Nokia 7 Plus. Model numbers mentioned for the two variants are TA-1109 and TA-1099, and based on the listing, these will likely be budget smartphones.

The phone is said to be coming in two versions: one with Snapdragon 636 and 6GB RAM and the other with MediaTek Helio P60 SoC with 4GB RAM. One of the two models will be priced around CNY 1600, which roughly translates around Rs 16,800, while the second model will come with a price tag of around CNY 1800 which roughly translates to Rs 18,900. It comes with a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display which conceals a Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor, plus the standard duo of 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage or 4GB + 64GB onboard storage. While other specifications, like the display, design, and the camera specs are expected to be more or less the same on both the models.
