The launch of a new Ayurvedic Centre of Excellence, marked by an MoU between the All India Institute of Ayurveda and College of Medicine in the United Kingdom is also expected.

This will be followed by official deliberations between the heads of government in London on Thursday before they head to Windsor for the CHOGM retreat, where the world leaders will interact on an informal basis without any structured agenda or the presence of officials.

It will take place alongside his bilateral visit to the United Kingdom, in which a range of issues - from immigration, technology cooperation and education - will be in the frame as part of efforts to strengthen ties ahead of Brexit. The centre is aimed at creating a first-of-its-kind global network involving Indian and British academics and medical professionals to coordinate on evidence-based research on yoga and Ayurveda.

It was the Prime Minister's fourth visit to Chhattisgarh, where assembly elections are due later in the year.

With economic ties being an important pillar of the India-Britain bilateral relationship, Modi and May will attend a CEOs Forum.

Prime minister, these two incidents are not just ordinary crimes where, with the passage of time, the wounds inflicted on our social fabric, on our body politic and the moral fibre of our society will heal and it will soon be business as usual.
