Tina Fey to host season finale of 'Saturday Night Live'

Leading up to Fey's appearance, SNL will feature hosting duties by actor Donald Glover on May 5 and comedian Amy Schumer on May 12 in her second time as host.

Fey will celebrate her sixth hosting gig on the show, for which she once served as head writer and anchor of Weekend Update.

The May 19 season finale will then welcome longtime "SNL" cast member and writer Tina Fey as host. Schumer has one notch on her SNL belt and last hosted the comedy sketch show in 2015. She was hired as a writer in 1997 and was upped to head writer two years later. She wrote the book for the musical, based on the 2004 movie she wrote. The rapper also released a collaboration with Young Thug, "Anybody", and is set to release another with Post Malone, "Ball For Me", as part of his new album beerbongs & bentleys.

The NBC late-night institution announced Wednesday that Amy Schumer, star of I Feel Pretty, will host on May 12 (11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT), with Kacey Musgraves as musical guest. If this is anything like Cardi B's role out with Invasion Of Privacy, it seems likely that she'll end up releasing the project right before her appearance on SNL.
