Fortnite's Thanos mode is nearly over, claim the gauntlet while you can


The new patch is being planned for May 15 and will be going live at the usual time.

One big change being made to the game tomorrow will be the removal of the Infinity Gauntlet Mode.

Since it became available, Fortnite's Infinity Gauntlet mode has been a big hit with fans of Epic Games' wildly popular sandbox survival title, as the Limited Time Mode has allowed players to wield the titular glove as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's character Thanos and wreak havoc upon the competition.

Players who are lucky - or skilled - enough to grab the Infinity Gauntlet can transform into Thanos.

Epic Games' Fortnite Battle Royale is proving to be a huge money maker for the company.

Here's a quick summary of how it works: every round of the Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup mode begins like normal, until a meteor streaks down from the sky (not that meteor) with the Infinity Gauntlet inside. After all, Epic just recently brought back a slightly tweaked variation of the first Limited Time Mode it ever introduced for Fortnite - that is, 50v50 -showing that the Infinity Gauntlet mode could come back either in its initial form or in a completely different permutation.
