Nokia X or Nokia X6 is said to be the first smartphone to flag off the series, and leaks around the device have been steady. It indicates that the upcoming device is going to be a mid-range smartphone and will retail at Yuan 1499 in China, which is about Rs 15,000 in India.
HMD Global will announce the new Nokia X aka Nokia X6 on May 16 in China. Furthermore, the Nokia X6 has also been spotted on Geekbench revealing specification details. However, as per earlier reports, the Nokia X6 was expected to arrive with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.
The Nokia X6 listing on the Suning website also includes several renders of the smartphone, showing its design from multiple angles.
According to the Geekbench listing of the Nokia X6, the upcoming smartphone will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset.
The fingerprint sensor will be placed at the rear side of the smartphone. The OS is Android Oreo and the device is most likely to join other Nokia phones in the Android One program for prolonged support and timely security updates. The Nokia X6 will come with a standard 3,060mAh battery with Qualcomm's QuickCharge 3,0 technology that can charge the phone to up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
We're talking about a Nokia X6 variant packing 4GB RAM and internally accommodating 64 gigs of data, fetching the rough equivalent of $235. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C. Coming to the cameras, the device will come with a dual camera setup with a 16MP and 5MP sensor. The octa-core SND 636 processor is coupled with an Andreno 509 GPU, 3GB/4GB RAM options and up to 64GB of onboard strafe, depending on the variant you choose.
