The smartphone has been started in China a month and will be expanded to worldwide markets.

The Honor 10 is the company's all-new flagship smartphone, and thanks to the fact that it launched about a month ago, we know exactly what to expect.

In India, the 6GBRAM plus 128GBmodel of Honor 10 will be available exclusively via Flipkart with pre-orders starting tonight at 12.00 am. Now, the company is gearing up to launch the smartphone in the Indian market. However, it is widely speculated that the phone will be priced at around Rs 35,000.

The Honor 10 is not just a looker, it feels equally well built and premium, when in the hands. However, the Honor 10 is no longer exclusive to the Chinese market, because as promised, Honor at an event today in London has finally announced the Honor 10 for global markets, including India.

The handset is already available in China, comes in two RAM+Storage variants of 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. I got to play around with the Honor 10 ahead of the launch, and here are my first impressions.

The Honor 10 comes with a 5.84-inch Full View full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a 2280x1080 pixel resolution. It has a notch and a front-mounted fingerprint sensor to give it edge-to-edge sleek look. Also up front is a 5.84-inch FHD+ display.

Second, the main frame of the phone is made from aerospace grade aluminum which merges with a super strong glass back encompassing a seamless curvy compact design. This device's other major feature is its "avant-garde design" - which we've been waiting for in the smartphone industry for some time. It is also quite slippery, especially if you have sweaty palms. Moreover, it comes with a decently large 3,400mAh battery. The same can be seen on Huawei P20 series.

The Honor 10 comes with a glass fused to an aluminum design. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1. It can accurately identify people, animals, grass, sky.

The dual cameras also support 2X optical zoom, portrait mode to blur background and also lets you click true monochrome (black and white) photos.

It additionally uses AI for image stabilization and low light shooting, the latter feature often leading to surprisingly great shots of dim environments. Well, I will be putting the smartphone through its paces over the next few days, and will reserve my judgment till then. There's no support for expansion via microSD card slot. For global markets, Honor is anticipated to supply the smartphone just in Mirage Purple and Mirage Blue color.

Having said that, the back of the smartphone is covered with 3D glass and has a dual camera setup in the top-left corner in horizontal orientation.

This morning the Honor 10 was revealed in full, complete with release details and pricing too.
