Klopp: We have one week - that feels like a year!

Chelsea's hopes of finishing in the top four suffered a blow on Wednesday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Huddersfield Town, a result that secures the Terriers' Premier League status.

Laurent Depoitre's goal gave the Terriers the lead at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, Jonas Lossl making a wonder save late on after Marcos Alonso's freaky equaliser.

Jonas Lossl then made a stunning save seven minutes from the end to turn Andreas Christensen's header onto a post.

Huddersfield secured a second season in the Premier League after clinging on for a draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

"Against Burnley we won and the rotation was (said to be) good".

Conte's mood has not been the best since the previous global break and even a FA Cup final triumph over Manchester United may not be sufficient to guarantee his stay, based on owner Roman Abramovich's demands from his managers, which includes regular participation in the Champions League. We love games like this, we knew what we needed, a point. This is football and to speak one day, you have always risk'.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has given the Reds a massive injury boost by returning to full training with the first-team squad.

Iheanacho fired the Foxes ahead with a sharp left-footed shot from the centre of the penalty area in the 14th minute and Arsenal defender Konstantinos Mavropanos was sent off straight after the restart for hauling down the forward.

"At the same time, we have to do our best, like we did today".

"We had so many chances and you must be good to take them".

It's been a tough season for Chelsea as they've offered a poor defence of their title, and there has been ongoing speculation over Conte's future at the club.

"It is very hard to explain this draw because you have 82% possession, created many chances, conceded one goal on the counter-attack and draw the game". For sure, they started this game with only one target in their mind: to take one point.

And, after Chelsea put themselves back in the hunt for a top-four finish with a 1-0 win over Klopp's men last weekend, the German boss is particularly appreciative of the extra preparation time.

"But we must respect Huddersfield".

"The situation wasn't in our hands before this game and after this draw the possibilities are less than before", Conte said.

"I think this season we dropped many points in a stupid way - especially in games where we dominated and created many chances but we were not able to score more goals".
