Missing 2-Year-Old Found in Northeast Iowa, Parents Arrested

Dakota was taken by her parents April 15, according to a statement from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the Camden Police Department in SC, they are searching for missing two-year-old Dakota Ray.

According to Minnesota Department of Public Safety BCA, 2-year-old Dakota Ray was located in Iowa and she is safe.

On Christmas Eve a year ago the couple shared a post in response to criticisms they had received from people concerned they were living in a motel.

Jessica Ray, the missing child's mother, is believed to be in possession of the missing child illegally in defiance of an ex parte order from Kershaw County DSS. They were also spotted in Marshall, Minnesota.

The parents and child were traveling in a 1996 gold Ford Aerostar van and may change the plates on the vehicle. "Stop by the Camden Police Department if you're ever in SC!" She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Jessica Ray is 36 years old. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 112 pounds and has long light brown hair and blue eyes.

William and Jessica were both transported to the Winneshiek County Jail. He is 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 340 pounds. A deputy stopped the pair and arrested the two on a variety of charges including theft and operating a non-registered vehicle.

A tip call came in about a sighting of William Ray, Jessica Ray, and Dakota Ray at the Walmart in Decorah.
