Nikka Bella's Reaction to John Cena's Heartbreaking Plea on 'Today'

Bella called off her engagement to Cena three weeks before they were meant to walk down the aisle, apparently over her differing opinion than Cena on having children.

"John is such an fantastic man".

As noted, John Cena appeared on NBC's Today show on Monday to make it clear that he still wants to spend the rest of his life with Nikki Bella and start a family with her.

"I don't know if they've already gotten back together".

Nikki has since responded to his comments, saying she's amazed by his words, but still wants to take time to think things through so that neither of them have any regrets.

"I just want John and I both to live happily ever after, whether it's together or separate, and I just don't want us to go down the road in life and have regrets of like "I did this for you" or "you did this for me". "Hopefully that's together, maybe it's not. He's freakin' lucky that he's marrying you, and it bothers me that you're going to sacrifice all of it just because you're grateful that John proposed to you".

"I saw some of the comments that she made and I think... like I said, she's searching for something", Cena said. Anyone who has experienced that knows that it comes with a series of bad feelings. "But I don't have any other hopes, other than one day that we can work it out".

The Blockers star continued: "I don't want anybody else".

Recently on a chat show, The Today Show, Cena bared his heart out and shared the bitter moment with his fans.

Later that day, Bella told Extra that she was "speechless" after watching the footage and admitted to Entertainment Tonight that Cena is the love of her life.

In a new clip from the season 3 premiere of Total Bellas, the Dancing with the Stars alum, 34, opens up about how much time she and Cena spent apart and how lonely it makes her feel.

When asked by Gifford if he wanted Bella to hear him and return to him, Cena replied, "No, I just want her to hear me, and I can't force someone to hear me". I just want us to work.
