According to past leaks, the phone might sport a 5.6-inch Infinity Display with a resolution of 1,480x720 pixels.

Still, if the J6 proves too costly, theres always its smaller sibling – the Galaxy J4 (2018).

South Korean tech giant Samsung has confirmed that it will launch the Samsung Galaxy J6 with Infinity Display in India on May 21.

The Galaxy A6 devices are announced in Black, Gold, Blue, and Lavender color options. The smartphone will be launched at an event in Mumbai and it will go on sale in stores from May 22. Elsewhere, Samsung's J-series has also been the harbinger of extra features developed by Samsung at its R&D centers in India - like the S-bike mode for instance - and chances are the Galaxy J6 may bring something new in this regard. Samsung Mobile India has tweeted out a video of the upcoming launch.

"Samsung Galaxy S9 series helped increase the company's share in the ultra-premium segment. It's coming to take you #ToInfinityAndMore". The retail box of the Galaxy J6 shows that the smartphone will come with a Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of Rs 14,990. The Samsung Galaxy J6 is expected to be announced with an nearly bezel-less Infinity Display as on the Galaxy S9.

The listing also discloses that the Galaxy Tab S4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.

The company is expected to release the device with several RAM+storage configurations.

With that being said, the Galaxy J6 also seems to have a flash on the front, and we hope that it will have a fingerprint scanner on its back, otherwise you will have to make do with Face Unlock if you are lazy enough to unlock the smartphone by using PIN/Pattern/Password.

While some key specs of the Galaxy J6 are yet to be confirmed, we do know nearly everything about the Galaxy A6+ as it was made official globally earlier this month.
