Ada County election officials said Tuesday that they are delivering extra ballots to several polling locations across the state's most populous county.

Orange County taxpayers are paying an average of $16.88 for each vote that's been cast since last September. The Pennsylvania Primary Election is here with voters already casting their votes. Neither will have to compete in a primary, but both will have to submit 1,000 signatures to the Board of Elections by June 12 to qualify for the ballot.

That translates to 14.74 percent total voter turnout, compared to four years ago when 18.11 percent of voters cast ballots. If you are a registered Virginia voter but do not have an acceptable photo ID, free voter photo IDs are processed at all of Virginia's 133 local general registrars' offices. Sara Gelser and incumbent District 15 Rep. Dan Rayfield are running unopposed in the Democratic primary.

Through the first two days of early voting, only 10 people voted in person. You can verify your voter registration through the Secretary of State's Voter Information Look-up web site (click on the Voter Information Look-up link) or go directly to the Voter Information Look-up page.

In Sarpy County, school security concerns moved more than one-fourth of voters to new polling places for Tuesday's election.

All voters living in County Precinct 1 will vote at Orange Public Library, all Precinct 3 voters will vote at the Bridge City Public Works Building and all Precinct 4 voters will vote at Gould Community Center in Vidor. Unaffiliated voters may only return one party's ballot.

If you haven't yet returned your ballot, you have until 8 o'clock tonight to do so, but don't try to mail it - postmarks don't count.

"That's quite a bit of savings", she said.
