Ronda Rousey eager for WWE title, baby 'someday soon'

The champion informed Rousey that she has an obligatory title defense at Money In The Bank and wants to face Rousey, but Rousey initially deferred the opportunity to the other women on the roster. Now that she's been married to Travis Browne for a year, the folks at TMZ figured it was time for an update.

Ronda Rousey's WWE career is off to a tremendous start. In it, she also talks about her wrestling career. Rousey forced James to tap out in an armbar to win the bout. Her in-ring debut at Wrestlemania 34 was lauded by fans of the sport who were initially skeptical she could incorporate all the skills required of a wrestler on short notice. She is set to battle Nia Jax in her first championship match at the "Money in the Bank" Pay-Per-View on June 17 in Chicago, where the pair will compete for the Raw Women's Championship, a title Jax now holds.

Rousey fought in a tag-team match with Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania in April and has made appearances on weekly programming since, though she has yet to have a singles match.

Above is new video of TMZ Sports catching up with Ronda Rousey in New York City.

We'll have to wait and see how the situation pans out, but for now, we know we only have to wait two more months before we finally see Rousey compete inside the ring on WWE's red brand.
