Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ released in two new colors

Red seems to be the smartphone color of spring.

Back when Samsung released the Galaxy S9, there were only four colours available in total - only three of which were available here in the UK. The gadgets went on sale without prior announcements. The the new colours are now available alongside the Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple options.

Samsung Electronics is expanding its Galaxy S9 series.

In the past few weeks, we've come to know that Samsung is working on a stripped version of last year's Galaxy S8 as TENAA published the certification of the Galaxy S8 Lite with Snapdragon 660 SoC.

Currently, the Burgundy Red variant has been made available in China and South Korea.

It's confusing that these particular countries are going to be lucky enough to see a release (although further markets are promised "soon"), but the good news is that the handsets themselves look pretty nice. The original trio or the newly added Sunrise Gold and Burgandy Red? The new Sunrise Gold color creates a feeling of both vibrancy and calm.

According to Samsung, the Burgundy Red edition features one of the deepest red colors available in the market.

All that said, Galaxy S9 sales in South Korea finally crossed the 1 million threshold this week, just about two months after launching on March 16.
