Several feared drowned as boat capsizes in Andhra Pradesh


While Navy divers were airlifted to the spot, NDRF, SDRF, Fire and other rescue teams reached by rubber boats.

In a shocking incident, a boat carrying as many as 30 passengers is reported to have capsized in river Godavari near Manturu of Devipatnam mandal in East Godavari of Andhra Pradesh.

At least 20 persons swam ashore.

East Godavari district collector Kartikeya Misra said that they have located the launch.
