His stepmother was arrested.

Facebook, Sedgwick County Jail Police say Emily Glass led a private investigator to the body of Lucas Hernandez. Marshburn tells KSN he flew into Wichita on early Wednesday morning and sometime Thursday afternoon into early evening he found the body of Lucas under a bridge.

Marshburn declined to talk about Glass' reaction at the scene for fear of jeopardizing the prosecution's case.

Jarrell said she was proud to part of a team that kept Lucas' name on people's minds.

"All those roads look alike, all those bridges look the same, all those woods - everything just looks the same". "Early next week, the Office of the District Attorney will review the results of the autopsy now being conducted as well as evidence gathered by law enforcement throughout this investigation". She then reported the boy missing, while his father was reportedly gone from the home at the time of the disappearance.

Wichita Police Chief Gordon Ramsay said at a news conference Friday that investigators believe the body found a day earlier on a county road about 20 miles (32 kilometers) north of Wichita, is Lucas Hernandez.

Marshburn is from Smithfield, North Carolina and he was hired by the father of Lucas, Jonathan Hernandez.

Marshburn tells The Associated Press that they drove around the general area for about four hours trying to find the body.

According to the Wichita Eagle, court documents revealed that Lucas had been seen with bruises - including one that looked the shape of a clothing iron - and other physical injuries multiple times in the year before he disappeared. "We will love you and miss you always Lucas Allen!"

On the night before he disappeared, the paper reports that Glass told police she smoked marijuana and left the 5-year-old home alone while she took her 1-year-old daughter to Olive Garden to eat. The Sedgwick County juvenile court document indicated the state of Kansas was told at least twice that Lucas was being abused and was living in a dysfunctional and violent situation.

When Ramsay spoke, the body had not yet been positively identified as Lucas.

Glass was jailed Thursday on suspicion of felony obstruction of justice, but no charges are expected to be filed this week. Lucas was reported missing by Emily Glass, his stepmother, back in February. She was acquitted of child endangerment for allegedly driving with her daughter while high. Marshburn then found the boy buried under the bridge in shallow water. Authorities have not released any information on the remains.
