The full trailer for the Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" has been released giving us our biggest glimpse into Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury yet.

The film, titled Bohemian Rhapsody after the Queen classic, has been highly anticipated since its inception in 2010, but has also made plenty of headlines for the production problems it's suffered.

Staring Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek as lead singer Freddie Mercury, the trailer begins with a sequence of intercut shots of Queen concerts, with Mercury (Malek) wearing a range of different costumes, from a batwing outfit to a shiny cat-suit to a simple white tank top.

Malek looks absolutely unbelievable as Mercury. The movie also presented Mercury's life and career being one of the best frontmen and the greatest vocalists. As expected, Bohemian Rhapsody will have Queen's most popular songs in the film including Killer Queen, We Will Rock You and the film's namesake.

":He was living an extreme life style - debauchery - I mean there were stories of little people with plates with cocaine on their heads walking around parties", he said.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury.

Director Bryan Singer was sacked from the film late previous year over his "unexpected availability", two weeks before principal photography was completed.

"In the process, cementing the legacy of a band that were always more like a family, and who continue to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day".
