Video shows 11-year-old escape from car during carjacking in Aurora

The footage shows the moment an 11-year-old girl who was inside the auto at the time of the carjacking jump out and roll in the petrol station.

The girl can be seen rolling onto the pavement at a gas station as the carjacker drives off in her father's SUV.

Just after 5:45 a.m. on Friday police responded to a gas station in the 1200 block of N. Eola Rd., and learned that 20 year-old Tyrelle Pulley of S. Princeton Ave.in Chicago jumped into a 2018 Jeep Cherokee as its owner was getting ready to fill it with gas and took off.

Moments later the girl, can be seen jumping out of the vehicle and then father and daughter embrace.

While authorities continue to look for Pulley's accomplice, they offer this advice: Don't make it easy on the bad guys.

CCTV footage captured the incident that occurred at a gas station.

"Miraculously neither the girl nor her father were hurt", police said.

The video also showed Beasanski atop the hood of another vehicle that was allegedly an accomplice as both suspects drove away.

Police say an investigation into the identity of his accomplice is continuing.

Police have said Pulley got out of a blue Dodge Charger that had pulled up next to the Jeep, and both vehicles drove off. Illinois State Police spotted the Cherokee near Interstate 88, and chased it heading east, according to Aurora police.

After a brief chase, 20-year-old Tyrelle L. Pulley of Chicago crashed and totaled the vehicle, according to WBBM.

"This is really sad to say about society today although he turned the vehicle off, you have to take the opportunity away from a brazen criminal to do something like this".
