Woman detained after feces-throwing incident at Tim Hortons


A woman was arrested this week after allegedly tossing feces inside a Tim Hortons in Langley, B.C. - a shocking incident that was captured on the restaurant's surveillance camera. Tim Hortons on Monday.

After a bit of time, the woman reaches for a pile of napkins, backs away from the counter and proceeds to drop her trousers. Staff appear to be trying to calm the customer down while she paces infront of the cash register, shouting and gesturing towards workers.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police told BuzzFeed the woman was "briefly detained after the incident" and prosecutors will determine if the woman will face charges when she appears in court at a later date. In the video, which has no sound, a woman can be seen screaming at staff before squatting on the floor and relieving herself.

Calls to the Tim Hortons were referred to the company's spokesperson.

A video of the gruesome incident was posted to YouTube on Wednesday.

"Our current understanding is that the team member used their discretion in this case and denied access to this guest based on past behaviour and out of concern for the immediate safety of team members and guests in the restaurant".

Langley RCMP Corp. Holly Largy confirmed that the RCMP received a complaint.
