"He and I are meeting on the 18th of this month", the UFC president today told TMZ.

MMA fighter Conor McGregor finds himself back in the courtroom today following a backstage fight at the Barclays Center where he smashed a window on a bus carrying fellow UFC fighters which caused injuries to two.

White and McGregor were initially set to meet at UFC Fight Night 130 in Liverpool, England, in late May, but that meeting never took place. Khabib Nurmagomedov won the UFC lightweight championship, vacated by McGregor due to inactivity, at UFC 223 in April after defeating Al Iaquinta via unanimous decision.

"I don't think you're going to have any resolution, but you'll have more information that both parties and pundits and everyone alike to assess where this is heading", said Latham. "So yeah, I could see that happening". I don't know what Conor has planned. He now has a record of 26-0. The meeting will follow the court hearing in which McGregor will answer three charges of misdemeanor assault and one count of felony criminal mischief.

Conor McGregor is headed to NY to face his eagerly awaited court date - and he's made sure to arrive in style. TMZ Sports reports that Conor's team is trying to work out a plea deal.
