E3 2018: Death Stranding Gameplay Trailer Shows New Female Character

The two were revealed in PlayStation's first ever gameplay trailer that was shown during Sony's E3 presentation where the end of the preview confirming the names of the actresses.

On top of revealing our first look at Death Stranding gameplay, the trailer also introduced two new characters played by Lea Seydoux (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Spectre) and Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman).

Hideo Kojima's, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid franchise, has devoted all of his attention to the PS4-exclusive Death Stranding.

"We also finally revealed our heroines". I was sniped by her aura as the female assassin.

This new trailer for Death Stranding shows off some truly handsome environments, is set to a melancholy indie song, and yes, Norman Reedus gets naked. Things take a dark and even more risky turn from there. However, she is represented by her younger self inside the game...for the time being, at least. "Her charm transcends time and generations".

We still don't quite get what "Death Stranding" is exactly and there's still no release date, but this year's extended look at the title has us more than a little intrigued.

Death Stranding already has a lineup that's teeming with stars including Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Guillermo del Toro, and now Linday and Seydoux, but Kojima says that they're not done yet. Kojima previously said the game will show "a different side of Reedus than fans of The Walking Dead might expect".
