Gisele Bundchen apologises for comments about younger models

Writing on Twitter on June 14, People reported that she tweeted that she simply was trying to convey that she is "from an older generation and am not technologically savvy".

She said: 'It's not my generation - I have to be honest about that.

Of course, the social media age came up and Bündchen said she was not a major Instagram fan. "I admire the younger generation and their skill to manage all the added demand of social media".

Gisele Bundchen didn't initially say "yes" when Tom Brady got down on bended knee to ask her to marry him.

As it turns out, Bündchen's Instagram account was created by her younger sister - an account the supermodel prefers to use for more sunsets rather than selfies.

She told the magazine that if she had to promote herself the way models do now, she wouldn't do it, calling herself older and wiser.

"When he proposed to me, he made up this whole story how my apartment was flooding and I ran over there to try to fix the situation", Bundchen recalled.

"When I got there, the whole apartment had candles and rose petals everywhere".

"And then he went down on his knees to propose", Gisele continued.

Brady posted a photo of himself wearing an "I love Gisele" shirt on the holiday Tuesday.

After nine years of marriage, what's her best advice for keeping the love alive?

While Gisele retired from the runway in 2015, she admitted, "I'm just not a glitter-fancy person". So I said, 'Listen, I'm not doing fur campaigns.' It put me in the driver's seat, finally.
