Will Jump Force have the strategic depth that will attract a hardcore Evo contingent? So far, characters that are confirmed to be in the game are Goku, Frieza, Naruto, Sasuke, Luffy, and Zoro.
You might be wondering how the rights work for all this. Dmitri Khlynin, a community guy at Bandai Namco, cleared that up quickly for me. So while the title isn't as exciting as it could be, it does harken back to these popular series' roots: their original manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. In the interview, Nakajima noted that the game will contain characters that haven't been in a video game before.
A slew of Shonen Jump characters last came together on consoles in J-Stars Victory VS+, a fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft.
