‘Jump Force’ Brings Anime Icons Together in 2019

To say Jump Force bringing in characters from Death Note, Naruto, Dragon Ball and a whole lot more is awesome is such an understatement that we don't even know where to begin.

While the trailer is very cool, it gives us few to no implications about the nature of the game.

Today Xbox is hosting its E3 2018 press briefing from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and we got a sneak peek at the new game by Bandai Namco, titled Jump Force. Today, the company confirmed its latest anime-centric title with Bandai Namco, and the world can not stop talking about Jump Force.

Will Jump Force have the strategic depth that will attract a hardcore Evo contingent? So far, characters that are confirmed to be in the game are Goku, Frieza, Naruto, Sasuke, Luffy, and Zoro.

You might be wondering how the rights work for all this. Dmitri Khlynin, a community guy at Bandai Namco, cleared that up quickly for me. So while the title isn't as exciting as it could be, it does harken back to these popular series' roots: their original manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. In the interview, Nakajima noted that the game will contain characters that haven't been in a video game before.

A slew of Shonen Jump characters last came together on consoles in J-Stars Victory VS+, a fighting game developed by Spike Chunsoft.
