Liverpool target Alisson Becker agrees terms with Real Madrid

The Reds have been strongly linked with a move to bring the Brazilian goalkeeper to Anfield this summer as they bid to try and strengthen their options between the posts this summer.

Liverpool have conceded defeat in their transfer pursuits of Jan Oblak and Alisson, reports say.

"From what I've been told, this is unlikely to get done before the World Cup, if at all".

And the German is not ruling out giving reserve stopper Danny Ward the chance to compete with Karius for the No.1 jersey.

Roma have recently done business with the Reds, with Liverpool FC having signed Mohamed Salah from the Italian club last summer. After all, Alisson is only 25, proven at the highest level and is the type of goalkeeper-especially given his excellent distribution-who would fit into a Klopp side well at Anfield.
