When Haddish saw Barr in her yard one day, she recalled greeting her. But that's not the only thing Haddish gets into.
Last week she posted a cryptic tweet which read: 'I'm making restitution for the pain I have caused, ' but she did not elaborate on what that might entail. "I don't really have words at the moment but maybe they can salvage the legacy in some way, but if it benefits her financially it's a bad move". "I say, 'Hiiii, Roseanne.' She looks at me [makes a disgusted face], and ran in the house".
Giving her the benefit of the doubt, Haddish decided Barr was having an off-day, but quickly realized the suspicious double standard in action.
"I thought, 'Maybe she don't want to be bothered today.' A week later, we walk by again, and I told Anna - she's Hispanic, but she looks white - she should say hi this time".
In the fallout, Barr went through stages of apologizing, lashing out, trying to explain, and then back through the various stages all over again. "I love your comedy, ' and she (makes the same disgusted face) and turns her head", Haddish said. I think, 'F**k that b***h.' That was 2000, maybe 2001, so it's not new.
When Anna greeted Barr and received a "hey" in return, Haddish said she was hopeful that the famed comic had warmed up to her.
Chastised as abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, Trump supporter Barr and her ratings bonanza show were pink-slipped by ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey within hours of the tweet.
"Roseanne" was canceled on May 29 after Barr called former Barack Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett the baby of "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes" in one tweet and touted a conspiracy theory calling George Soros "a nazi" in another. He's probably just exhausted of hearing my name. I could see how that could be irritating, like, 'Hello, I died, people. "I've never practiced "RACISM" in my entire life & never will", Barr wrote. You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it's so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?' But I didn't try to ruin her career. I'm back from the dead.
Guess that settles that!
