Former NBA star Dennis Rodman will reportedly be in Singapore when President Donald Trump is scheduled to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in a landmark summit on June 12, according to sources cited in a New York Post report Tuesday.
Rodman's relationship with Kim dates back to 2013, when Rodman first traveled to North Korea for the filming of the Vice documentary film "Basketball Diplomacy".
North Korea has a record of getting other countries to cover the costs when leaders and officials attend global events, claiming they can not afford it - despite having the cash to churn out nukes.
Reports say that the former National Basketball Association star will be in the country prior to the president's meeting with the North Korean leader, Fox Business Network host Charles Payne provides insight on 'Your World'.

Last week, Trump met with the highest ranking North Korean official in 18 years at the White House.
Trump aims to persuade the North Korean dictator to give up his country's nuclear arsenal in exchange for relief from US economic sanctions.
The reason most likely goes back to Bolton's comment in May that the United States was looking at a "Libya model" for denuclearizing North Korea.
The two sides are meeting for the third straight day after North Korean senior official Kim Yong-chol paid a visit to U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday.
